The only 2.5-hour intense actor training classes in the North West, our sessions are open to actors at beginner, intermediate and advanced stages in their actor training, encompassing an abundance of skill-based tutoring, practical coaching and industry standard mentoring in acting for TV and film at the highest level.
Taught by established actor, Jamie Lomas, and accomplished Industry Acting Coach and Creative Practitioner Anthony Crank, our ethos at FTSA is to provide consistency, honesty, support and a complete understanding of contemporary screen acting technique & application across all boards. Working together within a group setting and exhilarating and fun environment, enabling students the opportunity to experience all manner of professional & unique training and creative teaching methods to give them the skills and methods needed to embark further within this enthralling and rewarding career.
Within this, First Take School Of Acting will offer students the opportunity to consistently ‘think outside the box’, requiring students to expand their understanding of themselves physically, creatively and psychologically whilst unearthing talents and exposing themselves to endless creative possibilities and self discoveries guaranteed to push them further on all levels, adding to their skill-sets and preparing them for every eventuality within this heady and exciting industry.
With a heavy slant on creativity, imagination and staying bang up to date on current trends and genres by utilising scenes & scripts from contemporary and celebrated TV, online and big screen drama, no two classes at First Take School Of Acting will ever be the same.
Our approach is simple. We look to embrace the actor as an individual, give them an opportunity to push themselves to be the very best version of themselves in and out of the industry, and provide an environment of positivity, well-being, world-class training, and encouragement at all times.
